Central College of Pella, Iowa, is a private, four-year college known for its academic rigor, engaged citizenship and character formation, experiential learning, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), athletics and service. The Central experience is rooted in exploration and self-discovery and enhanced by life in an academic community of 1,100 students. Founded in 1853, the college participates in NCAA Division III athletics and is a member of the American Rivers Conference.

Classroom Clinic provides school districts with timely and convenient access to children's mental health services through the use of telehealth and our related technology platform. We offer both therapy services and psychiatric services to students via telehealth. We provide access to long term mental health care in partnership with local school districts.

Our Collaborative includes hospitals and colleges/universities in Polk County who have come together to help encourage the next generation of workers to consider a career in healthcare. The hospitals include Broadlawns, MercyOne and UnityPoint. The colleges and universities include Des Moines Area Community College, Des Moines University, Grand View University and Mercy College of Health Sciences. We are striving to increase attention and interest in not only the healthcare field, but additionally some of the lesser-known support roles within healthcare that may be unnoticed by the general public but are still in high-demand and often will hire immediately.

Rotary believes in developing the next generation of leaders. Our programs help younger leaders build leadership skills, expand education and learn the value of service. Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) builds peace one young person at a time. Students learn a new language, discover another culture, and truly become global citizens. Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) is a week long leadership development program held in Grinnel in late July for young people who want to learn new skills, build their confidence, and have fun. Local Rotary club sponsored Interact high school clubs bring together students to develop leadership skills and learn about the world through service projects and activities.

Two by Two® Evidence-Based programming was designed to capture a child’s imagination by connecting the teaching of core values with the love of animals. Having animals as an integral part of each program sets children up to immediately experience empathy and becomes the direct pathway to a child’s heart.

Xello is an engaging, online program that helps K-12 students define their future goals and transform their aspirations into actionable plans for success. It helps them build self-knowledge, explore their options, create a plan, and develop the skills needed to thrive in the world of work.
